RV Camping

We have 78 sites with 6 pull thru sites. Our sites can accommodate small rigs to big rigs.

Primitive Camping

The Okatoma Creek is a lovely stream in Covington County. Sometimes large enough to be called a river, it begins at the upper boundary of the county and joins the Bouie River in Forrest County. The Okatoma has been described by the U.S. Department of Interior as “a gently flowing pristine stream with sandbars, waterfalls, shoals, bluffs and high banks covered with maple, birch and magnolias; creating a canopy effect; a variety of flora, wildlife and riverine species.” The Okatoma is the only “white water” in Mississippi and offers some of the best canoeing anywhere as it flows freely through forests and farms.

Our Primitive sites are along the beautiful Okatoma Creek at Baker’s Landing. In our Primitive area there is creek access for fishing or swimming. After a short walk, restrooms are available at our pool or laundry facilities. Each site has a fire pit and seating for your camping pleasure.

Fishing

We have two beautiful lakes for your fishing pleasure. The main lake is surrounded by campsites and our clubhouse. Both lakes are stocked on a regular basis. No fishing license is required to fish in our lakes; but if you choose to fish in the Okatoma Creek, you will be required to obtain a Mississippi fishing license. Licenses are available at Gander Mountain and WalMart.

Pool

We have a wonderful swimming pool and wading pool for the little ones. Surrounding our pools is a deck area for all you sun bathers; you should get good sun exposure at any time of day. Just off the deck area we have a covered pavilion for those who prefer to stay a little cooler. We also offer vending machines with soft drinks and chips. The pool pavilion can be reserved for special events. Please call 601-520-6631 for more information. Beside our pool area is a playground for children. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool.
